I love a breakfast diner with no fancy outrageous entrees, and after the second time here, I can say this place is awesome. Mexican plates, crepes, and your regular American breakfast. I've had their chilaquiles rojo and chilaquiles de mole. They are both good - the mole is on the chocolatey side, but still has a spicy touch! Their beans are yummy. Their pancakes are the best! My partner loves their huevos con nopales - he doesn't think he'll ever order anything else because he enjoys it so much! Service is great, and kept our coffee cups filled. Sign your name on Their waitlist. Patio and indoor dining.

Food overall was decent. I wouldn't say the best but still good. The service is good, they try their best with how busy it gets. Their bathroom was extremely nasty & asked an employee to clean it, they did very fast. Ambiance feels so homey!! Good amount of parking too!

Food- I ordered the red chilaquiles with steak. The chilaquiles was well coated with salsa and the chips still had some crisp to it so I'm glad that it wasn't soggy. Mild level of spice. I ordered the steak medium and it was tender and cooked to the right temperature. It's a huge serving. I also ordered a side of pancakes and they were nice and fluffy. I had plenty of leftovers. The hot chocolate was delicious. This hits the spot for comfort breakfast food. The prices were great too especially for the portion size. Ambiance- it is your classic neighborhood diner vibe. Service- I went close to 11am on a Sunday so it was super busy. It took them awhile to bring out the food. The wait to be seated was around 15 min. Parking- They have their own parking lot so that's a plus. It was pretty easy to find parking.

Tried this place for the first time the other week because my boyfriend wanted to. I was honestly skeptical because of some of the bad reviews. The food was pretty decent. The order was good along with the hash browns for crispy just how I ordered them. The only thing that I feel was off was the pancakes, they had a bit of a cakey taste. The service was okay but they did take a bit to bring out our order and it didn't seem very busy. But besides that everything went pretty smooth for the most part. And the price was pretty fair as well.

We were seated immediately without a reservation even though it was bustling! The seats were comfy and I loved that we got a booth. After being given a few minutes to scan the menu, our orders were taken. Soon thereafter, our drinks came out and we were impressed by the presentation. Our plates came out at the same time, which was convenient, and the food looked amazing. My crepe was so delicious! I had almost wished I ordered three. The omelet was so fluffy and not overcooked, it was like I was eating a cloud. I hadn't expected the sausage to be in thin slices but it turned out making it easier to chew, with even amounts of sausage in each bite. Overall, this was more food than I was able to comfortably eat, but I'd rather that than have too little food. Next time I'll probably just stick with the water. I can't wait to try the other types of crepes offered here.

This breakfast spot usually has a wait, but it's only because it's that good! The pancakes are so large, fluffy and delicious. Being that their food is so good, the space is filled with a lot of customers enjoying the food. The menu is big, but not overwhelming. There are both savory and sweet options. The monte cristo was filling and not too sweet. The service is quick and always around to warm up coffee :) it is a great breakfast spot and the food hits the spot!

Been one of my favorite spots for breakfast for years! Though they offer many American traditional breakfast's (you know what I'm saying) they also offer a great many selections of Mexican breakfast plates too! Im always gravitating towards the chilaquiles rojos with a fried egg (eggs) that comes with a side of refried beans/cheese. And there's never ending refills of coffee too! If you haven't been here in a while, you'll appreciate the newly decorated interior. Real fresh and inviting. Finally the service remains top notch! Always friendly and punctual. Overall: It's great for you solo eaters, couples and yes even big groups! So if your travels take you through my home town National City...give this place a try!
